He was predeceased by: his mother Pauline Russo D'Amore; his wife Mary Morrell D'Amore; his father Joseph D'Amore, Sr.; his brothers, Joseph D'Amore, Jr. and Nunzio D'Amore; his parents-in-law, Connie and Nicholas Morrell, Sr.; and his siblings-in-law, Susan, Karol D'Amore, Andrew Gigliotti and Nicholas Morrell, Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Marc D'Amore (Lisa), Yvette Austin and Stephanie Kotar (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Joshua Austin (Katherine), Jarred Austin (Rocio) and Garrett Kotar; his great grandchild Calia Rose Austin; his siblings, James D'Amore, Carmelo D'Amore and Mary Cassaro; his in-laws, Frances Morrell and Theresa; and his friend Barbara Clinton.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Our Light Catholic Church (1 Maria Dr, Albany, NY 12211). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
