Sandra M. Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra M. Smith of Albany, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elanor Smith and Jay Smith; her husband Wallace C. Smith; and her sister Jenise Sutherland. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly DeMoor of Schenectady, NY and Richard Smith (Kayleigh) of Albany, NY.; her grandchildren, Madison Burrell-Murray, Vincenzo DeMoor, Nicolas Van Vorst and Reegan Smith; her brother Richard Smith of Palm Coast, FL; her cousin Diane Schwegler (Lee) of Glastonbury, CT; and her friend Beverly Bellinger. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandra's memory may be made to McKownville United Methodist Church, supporting the faith community that meant so much to her.
