He was predeceased by: his parents, Balaiah Gudumani and Sandhamma Gudumani; and his spouse Chandra Leela Gudumani. He is survived by: his children, Saritha Damera (Pramod Damera), Shylaja Murari (Sridhar Murari), Radhika Palli (Shiva Bharath Palli) and Vishal Gudumani (Keerthana Murari); and his grandchildren, Ananya, Nikhil, Anirudh, Shravya, Nitya, Saanvi, Shreyanvi and Vivaan.
