It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon P. Rickert of Albany, New York, who passed away on April 17, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sharon may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sharon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stephen J. Rickert and Elenor K. Foley Rickert; her siblings, Stephen M. Rickert, Sr. (late Alona) and Chris J. Rickert (Fran); and her nieces and nephews, Stephen M. Rickert Jr. (Angelina), Michael T. Rickert and Chris Pluto (Steve).
