She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Mehaffie Scott and Gerald Wesley Scott; her husband Ted Putney; and her brother Gerald Charles Scott. She is survived by: her daughters, Anne Scott-Putney (Astrid Sheil), Sarah Putney and Melinda Putney; her grandchildren, Nathan Swire (Cynthia Akagbosu), Jesse Swire, Minna Weisberger (Andres Neumane-Moral), Abigail Weisberger, Adah Farbman and Jonathan Farbman; and her siblings-in-law, Jesse and Sue Putney of New Hampshire. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sherry's name to Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood, the Northeastern Association of the Blind at Albany, The Albany Academies, or Wellesley College.
