She is survived by: her husband Donald W. Tuttle; her stepdaughters, Cindy Lou Clark and Donna Tuttle (Donald Countermine); and her half-sisters, Darlene Patterson, Eliza Kellish and Beatriz Kessler. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's honor to The Church of St. Clare, 1947 Central Ave. Colonie, NY 12205.
