She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Newton and Elizabeth Newton; her husband Bill; and her brother Robert Newton. She is survived by: her children, Nan, Billy and Jean; her grandchildren, Matthew Murray (Krista), Maeve Murray (Joe Kulewicz), Justin LaClair (Nicole), Eric LaClair and Lee LaClair; her great grandchildren, Paisley, Kira and Lucy; her friend Nancy Thurston; her sister-in-law Sharon Newton; and her pet Katie. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
