It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vance Albert Mims III of Albany, New York, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 17, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Vance A. Mims Sr.. He is survived by: his parents, Vance A. Mims Jr. and Glenda I. Mims; his grandparents, Lillian Ouillette, Yolanda I. Alicea and Timothy Cheshire; and his brothers, Myrese Barrett, Antonio Torres, Manuel Mims and Jonathan Mims. He is also survived by seven uncles, three aunts, and a host of cousins.
Viewing was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
