With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia M. Breslin of Albany, New York, who passed away on May 15, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Virginia had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Virginia may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Patrick DeAmelia and Angeline Choppa DeAmelia; and her husband Joseph Breslin. She is survived by : her children, Joseph Breslin (Barbara) and Paula Tibbitts (Jim); her grandchildren, Spencer (Amy Hotaling), Seamus Tibbitts and Quentin Breslin; and her brothers, Patrick (late Barbara) and Frederick DeAmelia (Holly). She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McVeigh Funeral Home, Inc. (208 N Allen St, Albany, NY 12206). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 8:00 AM at the Parish of Mater Christi (40 Hopewell St, Albany, NY 12208-1505).
