He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kieran and Rosetta Kieran. He is survived by: his former wife Carole Kieran; his children, William Kieran (Stephanie), Stephanie Wahl (Jonathan) and Sean Kieran (Joyelle); his grandchildren, Kayleigh, Isabella and Colin; his great grandchild Mila; his siblings, Kathleen Rudzinski (Ted) and James Kieran; and his pet Irish. He is also survived by nieces, and great-nieces, great-nephews as well as by his constant companion.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the McVeigh Funeral Home, Inc. (208 N Allen St, Albany, NY 12206). A prayer will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bill's memory to Veterans Miracle Center at 10 Interstate Ave. in Albany, NY 12205.
