He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gibson and Joan Gibson. He is survived by: his son Billy Gibson; his daughter-in-law Charlotte; his siblings, Patricia (Michael), Barbara (Doug), Jane (Edward), James (Marykaye), Christopher (Maureen) and Eileen (John); and his friend Dolores Ross. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc. (3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More R. C. Church (204-25 Rockaway Point Blvd., Rockaway Point, New York 11697).
