He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sebastiano Messina and Lucia Messina; his wife Giovanna Messina; his daughters, Lucia Dioguardi (Enzo), Giuseppa Jumper (Tom) and Maria Giovanna Piccirillo (John); his grandchildren, Thomas (Maria), Vincenzo (Ashley), Maria Giovanna (James), Teresa, Gabriella and Gianna; and his great grandchild Thomas Gabriel.
