He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Camarda and Josephine Van Nostrand (DiMaria); and his siblings, Charlie Van Nostrand, Jeannie Carriero, Cathy Hart and Fran Ferri.
He is survived by: his wife Marie L. Van Nostrand (Frangello); his daughters, Lisa Frangello and MaryAnn Van Nostrand; his grandsons, Benjamin Serrano and Myles Van Nostrand; his siblings, Rosalie Frisone and Michael Van Nostrand; and his close friend Angelo.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mark R. C. Church (2609 E 19th St, Brooklyn, NY 11235).
