She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lanese and Ann Lanese. She is survived by: her husband Daniel DeCostole; her children, Amanda Magnavito (Robert), Andrea DeCostole and Lauren Spano (Louis); her grandchildren, Gianna, Ariana and Sarina; and her pet Chestnut. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, husband, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Marine Park Funeral Home (3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 9:45 AM at the St. Bernard R. C. Church (2055 E 69th St, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Green-Wood Cemetery (500 25th St, Brooklyn, NY 11232).
