He is survived by: his sibling Carmine Sweeney (Lucille).
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Marine Park Funeral Home (3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd R. C. Church (1950 Batchelder St, Brooklyn, NY 11229). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. John Cemetery (80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Flushing, NY 11379).
