Josephine will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Though Josephine is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Josephine’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Incorvaia and Victoria Incorvaia; and her husband Thomas R. Sgro. She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Sgro. She is also survived by grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marine Park Funeral Home (3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady Help of Christians R. C. Church (1315 E 28th St, Brooklyn, NY 11210). A burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (3620 Tilden Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11203).
