With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona J. Ritchie (Brooklyn, New York), born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on April 22, 2024 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leona J. Ritchie to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Alexander Witkowski and Sophie Witkowski (Danilison); her husband Deacon Frederick V. Ritchie; her children, Barbara A. Staiti (Neil) and Christopher A. Ritchie (Kelly); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Samantha, Paul, Thorin and Kaitlyn. She was also cherished by her family, friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Columba R. C. Church (2245 Kimball St, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Charles Cemetery (2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Leona's memory to St. Columba R.C. Church, 2245 Kimball Street, Brooklyn, New York, further honoring her lifelong commitment to faith and community.
