She was predeceased by: her parents, Santa Harris and John Harris; her former husband Harry Nierenberg; her husband Joseph Testa; and her siblings, Elaine Webber, Fred and George Harris.
She is survived by: her daughter Lila; her friend Gladys Rubin; her brother Raymond Harris (Doreen); and her sons, Ben Nierenberg (Yael), Jay Nierenberg (Edwin Vega) and Evan Nierenberg. She is also survived by the many family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lila's name to the Alzheimer's Association in support of its work to advance research and provide care and support to those affected by Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
