She was predeceased by: her parents, Pasquale Gelardi and Josephine Gelardi (Marinello); her husband Matthew Rao; and her siblings, Catherine Billera, Lucy Pomara and Anthony Gelardi.
She is survived by: her children, Vito Rao (late Ann) and Roseann Cetta (Anthony); and her grandchildren, Denise, Vito, Lisa, Michael, Christine and Joanna.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc. (3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church (2055 E 69th St, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A burial will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at the Resurrection Cemetery (371 Sharrott Ave, Staten Island, NY 10309).
