She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Madeline Armstrong (Kostinec) and John Armstrong; her husband David Guttenplan; her daughters, Lauren Guttenplan (Martha) and Jennifer Guttenplan; and her brothers, Daniel Armstrong, Lawrence Armstrong (Normadeane), Edward Armstrong (Naomi) and Timothy Armstrong (Sonia). She was also cherished by seven nephews, one grandnephew and one grandniece.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc. (3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A Mass was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Mary Queen of Heaven R. C. Church (1395 E 56th St, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
