It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Williams of Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Matthew's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Matthew has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew John and Mary Williams; his wife Geraldine Williams; and his sister-in-law Peggy Price. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Marilyn Guinness. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc. (3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas R. C. Church (1550 Hendrickson St, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Old Grace Cemetery (4750 Merrick Rd, Massapequa, NY 11758).
