He is survived by: his parents, Kevin and Christina; his siblings, Emma and John; and his grandparents, Linda, Monica, Raymond and Trevor. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, godparents, and the extraordinary nurses, physicians, therapists, and caregivers.

Just before his first birthday, the COVID-19 pandemic changed everything.
