With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard M. Kirshy (Brooklyn, New York), who passed away on August 6, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kirshy and Emily Kirshy (Ellien); his son Richard Kirshy, Jr. (Jennifer); and his brother Ronald Kirshy. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary B. Kirshy (Dunne); his children, Michele Martell (William), Daniel Kirshy (Leslie) and Jennifer Arzberger (Francis); his grandchildren, Logan, William Jr., Scout, Kristen, Jack, Sean and James; and his brother Robert Kirshy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at 8:00 PM and on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral (355 State St, Brooklyn, NY 11217). A procession will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Charles Cemetery (2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735). A prayer will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 11:00 PM to 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral (355 State St, Brooklyn, NY 11217).
