He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Marilyn Danese (Hayes); his children, Sebastian Danese, Richard Danese and Marie Carvalhido; his grandchildren, Carlyn, Aileen, Penelope, John, Sebastian and Samantha; and his siblings, Gaspar Danese, Marie Ann Tempesta, Annette Connlly, Theresa McParland, Elizabeth Danese, Angela Giacchino and Salvator Danese. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc. (3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Thomas Moore R. C. Church (204-25 Rockaway Point Blvd, Breezy Point, NY 11697). A burial was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at the Green-Wood Cemetery (500 25th St, Brooklyn, NY 11232).
