He is survived by: his parents, Kathleen Battista (Redpath) and William Vito Battista; his wife Rochelle; his brothers, Robert (Laura) and Brian; and his nieces, Kristen, Ava and Mia.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Marine Park Funeral Home (3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Thomas More Roman Catholic Church (204-25 Rockaway Point Blvd, Breezy Point, NY 11697).
