He is survived by: his wife Abigail Burnham Bloom; his children, Kai Thompson Hernandez (Keith), Alison Nielsen (Greg) and Zachary Bloom; and his grandchildren, Valentin Hernandez and Shawn Nielsen. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
