He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Schmidt and Mary Schmidt (Manchisi); his sister Caroline Schmidt; and his grandson Henry. He is survived by: his wife June Schmidt (Fahrenholz); his siblings, Patricia Finley of East Meadow and William Schmidt of Kings Park; and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Brett, Juleigha, Carl, Katarina, Taylor, Ryan and Payton.
