We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 78, Nelson E. Fried (Smithtown, New York), born in Queens, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martha Fried and Emil Fried; and his wife Susie. He was also cherished by his sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren.

Nelson made significant contributions to the aerospace industry, notably working on pivotal projects at Grumman, including the A-6 Intruder aircraft and the Apollo Lunar Module.
