He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father Douglas L. Babcock; his stepfather William "Ace" Drummond; his wife Iris Babcock; his sons, Douglas, Michael (Melissa) and David (Christina); his grandchildren, Tyler, Aiden and Skylar; his mother Dorothy Drummond; and his siblings, Dougie (Helen), Bryant and Donna (Kevin).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Chapel (160 Orange Ave, Suffern, NY 10901). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:45 AM at the Airmont Coptic Orthodox Cemetery (3 Church Rd, Suffern, NY 10901).
