He was predeceased by : his sister Cara Pilger; and his father Frederick Pilger. He is survived by : his mother Patricia Janke Pilger; and his siblings, Douglas Pilger, Gregory Pilger, Cynthia Pilger-Gonzales, Andrew Pilger, Adam Pilger, Emeka Ekeocha, Ricardo Pilger, Sarah Pilger and Shane Pilger. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews and countless friends.
