He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Leroy Mitchell of Cushing, ME and Wilda Weaver Douglas of Sloatsburg, NY. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Atkinson and Alan Paul Mitchell (Susan); his grandchildren, Katlyn Westphal (Nicholas), Emily, Charlotte Atkinson, Max and Anna Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Alice and Olivia Westphal; and his close friend Paul Tompkins.
