He was predeceased by: his father Leroy Tyson; and his siblings, Donald Tyson and Mary Price. He is survived by: his wife Carol Tyson (Bardall); his sons, Robert Tyson (Becky) and Allen Tyson, Jr.; his grandchildren, Chris, Kayla, Zach, Brandon and Courtney; his great grandchildren, Grant and Graham; and his sister Phyllis Price.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dueber Church.
