She was predeceased by: her father Merle Gansen; and her brother Tim Gansen. She is survived by: her husband Kurt Hamblin; her children, Jodi Ludwick (Eric) and Scott Hamblin (Michelle); her granddaughter Amanda Ludwick; and her brothers, Terry and Mike Gansen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Barb's name to Golden Retrievers in Need Rescue Service (GRIN).
