With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bea Shaheen McPherson (Canton, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2026 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Selma D. Shaheen; her husband James W. McPherson, Jr.; her father Moses Shaheen; and her siblings, Anna M. Shaheen, Nellie Joseph, Tess Azar, Charles, David, John and Richard Shaheen.
She is survived by: her children, James W. McPherson III of Phoenix, Arizona, Marena L. McPherson of Chicago, Cheryl M. Loden of Glen Allen and Virginia (Carl); her brother Robert A. Shaheen of Boynton Beach; her great grandchildren, Cory McPherson-Jones (Michael Kalosky), Kevin Loden (Kathy), Brian Loden (Brennan), Randy Loden (Evanne) and Igor Jekauc (Kelly); Keira Lynn, Simon Allen, Ellen Bea, Claire Marie, Elliot Gene, Oliver George, Reid Armour, Greer Annabelle, Karolina and Sara. She is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews.
