She is survived by: her sons, Virgil Abel III (Deborah), Vincent Abel (Michele), Mark Abel (Rosa) and Michael Abel (Kim); and her siblings, Frances Cumbridge, Martha Brown and James Bailey. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
