We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2025, at the age of 100, Betty Freed of Canton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Levin and Sadie Levin (Cohen); her husband Herbert Freed; her siblings, Sam, Alfred, Edgar, David Levin, Norma Raffel, Blanche Gilbert, Marge Mirman and Sara Levin; and her cousin Lillian Weinberger.
She is survived by: her son Nelson (Betty) of New Philadelphia; her sibling's children, Jeff Levin (Sheryl) of Maumee, Marc Manheim of Canton, Dennis Levin (Anita) of Florida, Lon Levin (Diane) of Youngstown, Ohio and Diane Mirman of Orlando, FL; and her cousin Herb Cohen (Marilyn) of Florida.
Donations in memory of Betty Freed made be made to Shaaray Torah Synagogue, Ohio's Hospice New Philadelphia or the Alzheimer Association.
