He was predeceased by: his parents, Orrville Simpson and Ida Mae Simpson; his wife Marilyn; his son George Simpson; and his siblings, Eddie, George, Larry Simpson, Virginia Hartley, Iva Hutchison, Ruth Exline, Florence Lanford and Margie Hembree.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Simpson (Malou), Nancy Lonsinger (Steve) and Douglas Simpson; his siblings, Anna Butts, Shirley Backus (Dave) and Ted Simpson; his grandchildren, Angie, Jodi, Erik Simpson (Barb), Kate Couden (Brandon), Hans Lonsinger (Sarah), Ivan Celeridad (Rhea), Ian, Alexis and Angel Simpson; his great grandchildren, Andrew Eagling, Allison Compton (Shaun), Hope Dibble (Kristopher), Maria, Bryce Simpson, Oscar, Charlotte Couden, Ruger, Bo Lonsinger and Ava Celeridad; and his great great grandchildren, Ava and Evan Compton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to a choice of: Reedurban Presbyterian Church, Castaway Critters of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, or the The Wilderness Center.
