He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Capestrain and Rose Capestrain (Ramuno). He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kathy" Capestrain (Sturiale); his children, Sam Capestrain (Chris), Carl, Jr., Linda Wise (Mark) and Brenda Capestrain (Connie); his grandchildren, Amanda Caughman (Kevin), Cortney Capestrain, Jessica Fosselman (AJ), Ashley Hess (Dan), Lauren Sarachman (Drew) and Nicholas Wise; and his great grandchildren, Nora, Kasen, Aria, Kendall, Joey and Dominic.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
