She was predeceased by: her father Howard Ackley; her husband Howard Wise; her son Rick A. Lewis; and her brothers, Ronald Ackley and Richard Ackley.
She is survived by: her daughter Tonya Carpenter (Rick); her grandsons, Shaun Carpenter, Brock Carpenter (Kelly) and Redmond Early (Diautri Gibson); and her sisters-in-law, Betty Ackley, Barb Ackley, Belle Betscakos (Tony) and Sandra Cashner (Roger). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carol's honor to the Dementia Society of America.
