She is survived by: her husband Albert Zernechel; her sons, Scott Zernechel (Jill) and Michael Zernechel (Mercedes); her grandchildren, Alex, Morgan (Jason), Spencer, Weston and Sydney (Stuart); her brother Dr. James Johnston (Virginia); her nephews, Dr. James Johnston Jr. and Jeff Johnston (Sarah); and her great-nephew James Johnston.
