She was predeceased by : her parents, Steve Demos and Pauline Demos (Peterson); her brother Nick Demos; and her stepdaughter Brooke Diane Usner. She is survived by : her husband Jack Richard Usner. She is also survived by three nephews and three nieces.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church (251 25th St NW, Canton, OH 44709). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church (251 25th St NW, Canton, OH 44709).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Sophia's name, to St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church.
