He was predeceased by: his father John Douglas "Doug" Swinderman; his uncle Roger Swinderman; and his brother Keith West. He is survived by: his mother Sharon D. Swinderman (Doane); his children, Jordan (Bianca), Jarrett, Jeremiah and Rylynn Swinderman; his grandchildren, Aubrey, Rhett and Kinsley Swinderman; and his siblings, Lynzee Abel (Brock), Jo Ann Slunski (Mike) and Ken Greenwood.
