It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chester F. Griffin of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester M. Griffin and Mildred Griffin (Stoner); his daughter Kelly; his great grandchild Grayson Lewis; and his siblings, Bob, Kenny and Doris.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene (Thorley); his sons, Jim (Stacy) of North Canton and Tim (Susan) of Canton; his grandchildren, Andrew, Adam (Angelina), Cory (Joanna) and Cami (Adam Lewis); his great grandchildren, Eli, Brady, Oliver and Claire; his son-in-law David Lynch; and his brothers, Bill of Canton and Jim (Karen) of Arlington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Chet's name to the Canton Baptist Temple.
