She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Zimmerman and Noreen Zimmerman; her brother Erich Zimmerman; her half-sister Rosemary Namy; and her aunt Virginia Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Tracy Schiefferle of Powell, Ohio and Tim Catalano (Jeanne) of Williamstown; her husband Louis Kovacs of Canton; her sister Judy Logan of Canton; her grandsons, Gavin Schiefferle of Scottsdale and Graham Schiefferle of Fort Worth, Texas.; and her nieces and nephews, Peggy Lee, Becky Daniel, Steven Warth, Michael Warth and Christopher Zimmerman.

More recently, Christina resided in the memory care unit at the Inn at Belden Village, where she received care while living with Alzheimer's disease.
