He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Francis and Anna Caes (Ritzhaupt); his sister Elva Caes; his sister-in-law Dorothy Caes (Hoover); and his granddaughter Maja Emilia Caes.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Caes (Oyler); his brothers, Everett and Edmund Jr. (Marion (McMaster)); his children, Chris (Dorota), Conni (Chad Smith) and Craig (Laura); his grandchildren, Zofia, Oliwia, Susan (Oliver), Collin (Kaidy), Emma, Evan, Molly, Michael, Casey and Kenneth; and his great grandchildren, Josie, Jaylen, Kiana and Aaliyah.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the North Canton (715 Whittier Ave NW, North Canton, OH 44720). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Forest Hill Cemetery (4414 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709).
