He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dansizen and Beverly Dansizen (Schauer). He is survived by: his son Dale Dansizen, II; his granddaughter Emma Dansizen (Vicky Smith); his siblings, Howard Dansizen and Cindy Carney (Jay Kanous); and his nephews, David Lund and Jason Lund.

To keep Dale's legacy living on, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Guitar Foundation of America.
