He is survived by: his children, Christie Hayhurst (Jason) and Dale Stoner, Jr. (Stacey); and his grandchildren, Heather Moore (Matt), Amanda Hayhurst (Jon), Kristen Smith (Wesley), Steven Stoner (Liv), Benicio and Rey Hernandez. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
