He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Allan Mills Jr. and Kathryn Jean Snay Mills; and his brother Ronald Mills of Chandler, AZ.. He is survived by: his wife Annette Mills; his children, Christopher Mills (Sydney) of Mooresville, NC., David Jr. (Stephanie) of Hillard, OH., Andrew Melott (Katya) of Avon, OH, Tiffany Shepard (Thomas) of East Canton, OH. and Mindy Melott of Valdese, NC; his siblings, Chryal Nichols (Ernest) of Omaha, NE, James Mills (Cindy) of Charlotte, NC., Van "Chuck" Mills of Newark, OH. and Michael Mills of Zanesville, OH; and his sister-in-law Julie Mills of Chandler, AZ.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
