She was predeceased by: her parents, Sally Hastings-Carani and Angelo Carani; her sister Darlene Margaret Hastings; and her husband Dennis Meeks. She is survived by: her daughter Sarah-Margaret Hug; her son-in-law Cody Baldwin; her granddaughter Kasey Harvey; and her siblings, Sondra Kenny, Tony "Bud" Carani, Ken Carani (Joyce) and David Carani. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Paquelet and Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Homes (1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
