He was predeceased by: his father Oscar Compher. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Compher; his children, Debra Coy (Jim), David Compher (Toni) and Donald Compher (Doreen); and his grandchildren, Matthew Reneker, Amanda Perkins, Scott Compher, Nikole Ball and Marc Compher. He is also survived by five step grandchildren; and many great grandchildren and extended family.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Donald's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
